This beautifully restored building sits on the land where Lady Portman once grazed her goats.

Our Head Chef develops our menu using the best seasonal and locally sourced produce. We ensure that our ingredients are sustainably sourced in the UK to create a true “farm-to-fork” experience with carefully crafted gastropub dishes to ensure nothing goes to waste. Our rare breed White Park beef, Hebridean lambs and game all come from Lyons Hill Farm in Dorset and with daily deliveries from Lyme Bay, our fish comes from sea to plate in under 24 hours. Passion for sustainability and the environment rewards us with a Three Star Sustainability rating and our support of the Green Earth Appeal means our guests can feel good about dining with us.

Take time out upstairs in our bright and airy first floor dining room offering a tranquil escape from the buzzy ground floor. With large sash windows, wood panelled walls and an open fireplace. Flawless service and a larger selection of fine wines make for the perfect lunch time meeting spot or date night dinners.
